The Rhino Eye Shield is a malleable and slightly perforated metal shield that is often placed over an injured or post-operative eye. The white protective fabric cover increases comfort for the wearer.

TCCC guidelines for tactical field care regarding penetrating eye injuries:

“If a penetrating eye injury is identified or suspected:

a) Perform a quick field test of visual acuity.

b) Cover the eye with a rigid eye shield (NO pressure patch).
