ABC/CBRN gas mask, model CM-6

The currently most modern and widely used CM-6 gas mask is manufactured in Europe and meets the requirements of the EN 136, Class 3 standard. In conjunction with the NBC-3/SL filter, the mask protects the face, eyes and respiratory system from the effects of toxic gases, vapors, aerosols, harmful biological substances and radioactive dust.

The mask body is made of chemically resistant, soft, and well-tolerated BIIR-based rubber. The large, panoramic polycarbonate mask goggles ensure perfect spatial orientation during normal activities.
The processing of the mask's sealing line ensures reliable tightness for different face sizes.

This protective mask allows for communication via electronic communication devices. It also features an acoustic insert, which also allows for normal one-on-one communication.

This mask is designed for use in the chemical and nuclear sectors, in industry and agriculture, in mining, civil protection, as well as by firefighters, police and military.

The filter can be mounted on either the right or left side.

What is the difference between NBC protection and CBRN?

The outdated term "NBC protection" referred to protection against atomic, biological, and chemical hazards, but did not distinguish between nuclear and radioactive threats. Today, the more precise term "CBRN protection" is used internationally, which covers chemical (C), biological (B), radiological (R), and nuclear (N) hazards.
